Privacy Policy

How this site handles information, cookies, and contact requests. Last updated: 25 September 2026.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to visitors of this website (including the Need Assessor and contact flows). It explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

2. Information we may process

  • Contact and enquiry data you choose to send (name, organisation, email, message, interest area), typically via your own email client when you submit a form.
  • Assessor results if you choose to email them to the programme desk. Quiz answers otherwise remain in your browser and are not uploaded by the static site.
  • Technical and preference data such as theme preference and cookie-consent choice stored locally when you allow it.
  • Server or hosting logs that may be generated by the hosting provider (IP address, user agent, timestamps) as part of ordinary web delivery and security.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Respond to information and vendor-introduction requests
  • Operate, secure, and improve the website
  • Remember theme and cookie preferences according to your choice
  • Meet legal obligations and defend legal claims where necessary

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on context and applicable law, processing may rely on your consent (for optional cookies and certain communications), performance of steps at your request before a contract (vendor introduction), legitimate interests in operating a secure information site, and legal obligations.

5. Cookies and local storage

On your first visit, a cookie preference notice asks you to choose one of the following:

  • Allow all - essential preferences plus optional analytics/experience cookies if enabled on the site.
  • Mandatory only - only essential storage required for basic site function and remembering your consent choice (and theme preference).
  • Reject all / none - decline optional and preference storage where technically possible. Some essential hosting functions may still operate. Theme preference may not persist across visits.

You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

This static site primarily uses browser local storage for consent and theme. If third-party analytics are added later under “Allow all”, they will operate only when that choice is selected.

6. Vendor introductions and sharing

If you request help achieving DPDP compliance, your enquiry may be shared with specialised security and compliance vendors in the DPDP service catalogue so they can respond. We share only what is needed to handle your request. Those vendors process your data under their own terms and privacy notices once engaged.

7. Retention

Email correspondence is retained as needed to handle your request and for legitimate business and legal records. Local preference data remains until you clear site data or change cookie settings. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider’s retention practices.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a static information site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not send highly sensitive personal data (for example passwords, full financial account numbers, or special category data) through general enquiry forms.

9. Children’s privacy

This site is directed at organisations and professionals. It is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from children through this site.

10. International access

The site may be hosted or accessed from locations outside your state or country. By using the site, you understand that processing may occur in India and other jurisdictions where infrastructure or vendors operate, subject to applicable law.

11. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act when its relevant provisions apply to a given processing activity), you may request access, correction, erasure, or withdrawal of consent for optional processing, and you may raise a grievance. Contact dpdp@curlsek.ai for privacy requests related to this site.

12. Third-party sites

Links to government gazettes, statutes, or other external sites are not covered by this policy. Review their privacy notices separately.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes to cookie practices will be reflected in the on-site consent experience where appropriate.
